
Climate Coalition for Lower Manhattan
The Climate Coalition for Lower Manhattan (CCLM) is a coalition convened to serve as a community advisory group for this and the other Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency (LMCR) projects. The CCLM, composed of experts knowledgeable about various dimensions of Lower Manhattan’s complex context, serves as our partner in jointly developing the Climate Resilience Plan, shaping an implementation strategy, and expanding the reach of engagement to the broadest potential audience. CCLM members represent:
- Climate-resilience organizations
- Civic groups
- Environmental and business organizations
- Youth and student advocacy groups
- New York City Community Boards 1 and 3
- The offices of several elected officials
- Various major institutions, such as schools and universities, healthcare organizations, museums, and international organizations
